I hate cab drivers who don't listen to my instructions. I just spent bloody 20 mins in a stupid non-moving traffic because this idiot cabbie chose not to listen to me. argh!

If there is anything I learn from this incident, it would have to be:

calculations were made and done. during the peak hours and heavy traffic circumstances, you spend the same amount of time to get to the CBD district by cabs and public transport such as trains and buses.

it's very difficult to concentrate on my reading at a polyclinic when you have the sound of a toddler crying his heart out. no offence, not that I dislike babies and kids. it's very discouraging to know how you are trying very hard to get up early to take the bus to camp instead of taking the cab and you've failed. this sucks.. I'm spending way too much money on transport. need to bring down monthly expenditure .. argh. times are so bad.

haha. today was pretty much a quiet day for me. semi-sunny morning dragged me out of bed and to the pool. since I was too hungry, didn't last very long under the sun but I did manage 10 swim lengths. I came home only to shortly catch up with a couple of friends via msn before my bed summoned the rare afternoon nap. haa!

this week has been a tough week of the new year. sometimes I just don't know why the world revolves around money. it really sucks. things are just getting more & more expensive it's so frustrating. it's oh so annoying to always not have enough. but when will it ever be enough? sighhhh.

christmas 08

oh wow. it is less than 24 hours to Christmas day and I'm just happily slacking at work. well since we are getting dismissed at noon, I'll just not bother to work.

honestly, I'm still getting used to celebrating Christmas officially. getting gifts were never my practise, maybe in years to come it shall be a tradition.
